Payments

Smart Machinerry will consider your order accepted upon the earlier of the following:

1. Issuance of a tax invoice for the sale, sent to you via email.
2. Fulfillment of your order.

Payment of good are to be made at the time of sale and can be made via Paypal, Credit Card and Direct Deposit.  All payments are to be made in United States Dollars Currency.  Goods cannot be dispatch until full payment has been received.

Select the product you’d like to purchase, add it to your shopping cart and proceed to the check out. You can add all the accessories that you require and nominate delivery address or depot pick up during the check out process.

Currency

Currency payment on this site is United States Dollars, US$. All prices displayed on www.smartmachinerry.com are in United States Dollars (USD) and include goods and services tax (GST). All transactions are processed in United States Dollars (USD).

Prices on the Smart Machinery Group website are current at date of issue and are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right to correct any errors published on the website.

Shipping

Shipping is solely at our choice by shipping with DHL, Fedex, or Post service. In some cases, we might also use Freight Carrier to ship your order.

Warranty

All products that Smart Machinery Group sells are covered by a warranty from each brand. Warranty period commences from date of original sale.

Please have a copy of your proof of purchase for the equipment available.

Warranty is the responsibility of the manufacturer or their representative.

Any unauthorised modification/s to any of our products will automatically void any warranty.

Important Notes:

Alterations or repairs made to any of the product without prior approval from Smart Machinery Group may void this warranty.

Exclusions:
The warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear consistent with the product’s age.
Damage caused by accidents, abuse, misuse, neglect, or failure to follow proper operating instructions and maintenance procedures.

Battery Maintenance for Electric Start Generators and Auto-Start Standby Applications

All electric start and auto-start generators draw a small amount of current from their batteries over time. This can result in a discharged battery and potential battery failure.

Warranty claims taken into consideration that the user has followed the manufactures servicing and maintenance requirements. A well kept maintenance log is ideal for all maintenance, inspections, fluid levels and load test results.

This warranty is the only warranty given by Smart Machinery Group or their dealers and all other warranties whether expressed or implied under the common law or by the statute which but for this clause apply to the supply of the Smart Machinerry or other goods or services pursuant to this agreement and which are permitted by law to be excluded, are hereby expressly excluded.

To the extent that any such act or ordinance permits Smart Machinery Group or the dealer to limit their respective liabilities to compensate or indemnify any person for breach of a condition or warranty implied thereby, then the respective liabilities of Power Master Generators and / or the dealer for such breaches shall be limited in the case of goods to the payment of the cost of replacing the goods or acquiring equivalent goods.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Internationals Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods failure does not amount to a major failure.

This warranty replaces any other expressed or implied warranties.

Fraudulent Transactions

Smart Machinery Group takes active measures to reduce the risk of fraudulent transactions. Should an order be flagged as high risk, Smart Machinerry will contact the customer requesting further information to confirm certain information. If the customer refuses to provide further information, Smart Machinery Group reserves the right to cancel the order. Smart Machinery Group is not liable to compensate for any loss, expense or inconvenience you may face as a result of a cancelled order.

Returns Policy

You may need some help with a return. Don’t worry! The following information will help you process your return. For specific product warranty and delivery information check individual product pages.

Unopened Products

You may return any “unopened” products and accessories within 14 days of delivery for a refund. Please send the item back to us in its original condition and packaging and we’ll refund your purchase price. The freight charges will need to be covered by the customer and a restocking fee equivalent to 20% of the purchase price will apply.

Opened Products

“Opened” products and accessories can be returned within 14 days of delivery and will be subject to a restocking fee equivalent to 35% of the purchase price to cover testing, cleaning and repackaging expenses. Simply return the item to us, shipping charges will need to be covered by the customer using the most convenient shipping method available to the customer. Opened returns must be in saleable condition with original materials and packaging.

Cancelled Orders

An order that has been shipped cannot be cancelled. If you refuse an order, it will then fall under our standard returns policy.

Damaged Products

You must take the time to inspect the goods before you sign the delivery receipt from the carrier. If you sign the delivery receipt without inspecting the shipment you will be responsible for filing a freight claim and arranging for a repair or return of the damaged goods.

Suspect Damage

On occasion, the outer carton may look damaged, but the product inside the box is perfectly fine. If you suspect concealed damage, notate “Possible Freight Damage” on the delivery receipt while the driver is present. This way, if you discover later that the product is damaged, the remedy of a freight claim is less of a hassle.

Obvious Damage

Do not sign for damaged products. If your product arrives damaged, please (a) REFUSE DELIVERY and (b) Contact Us at your earliest convenience so we can process the appropriate claims and coordinate an exchange for you.

Defective/Faulty Products

We encourage you to test your product within 7 days. Please have your tax invoice, model number & serial number ready for a faster service.

In the event a product fault or defect cannot be resolved over the phone, please Contact Us so we can arrange either your choice of: product inspection under warranty and repair, a replacement, or refund.

Incorrect Item

In the event that the incorrect item is delivered, please Contact Us so we can arrange and coordinate either your choice of replacement or refund.

Used Products

Products that have been used cannot be returned. Unless the product is deemed as faulty or defective please Contact Us.

To arrange return of faulty product. Please have your Tax Invoice, model number & serial number  ready for a faster service.

Termination

Smart Machinery Group may terminate the contract if buyer fails to comply with any of these conditions or other terms of agreement with Smart Machinery Group or commits an act of bankruptcy or (being a company) has a receiver appointed or goes into liquidation.
